Sanakadika brahmadi munisa ,
Narada sarada sahita ahisa .
The sages like Sanaka , Sanatana , Sanandana and Sanat kumara ( the four brothers ), Brahma and other gods , Narada, Sarasvati including the lord of serpents ( praise you all the time ) .
Hanuman's devotion and achievements in Rama's mission are unparalleled. It brings forth praise from the self - realized divine beings and gods themselves.
It is a tadition among the writers of ancient classical literature to describe the scene of showering flowers and praises on the doer by the deities from the sky whenever a grand deed for the welfare of the world was done on the earth, as a mark of appreciation. In keeping with this tradition , the poet enumerates the various gods who showered praises on Hanuman.
Sanakadi refers to the four sages Sanaka, Sanandana , Sanatana and Sanat kumara . They are the sons born from the mind of Brahma. At the age of four, all of them learnt the Vedas and travelled together. They were celibates for ever. They were self-realized divinities.
Brahmadi includes Brahma and other gods. The gods are innumerable. So all the names are not mentioned , only a few signinificant ones are referred to. Brahma is the creator of the universe.
Appreciation of Brahma shows the happiness and pride of a creator-father in the virtues of his own creation-son. Narada , a son of Brahma is a very famous sage in the puaranas. He was a great devotee of Vishnu. Narada roams in al the three worlds and knows every happening there. It was Narada who gave the impetus to Valmiki for the composition of the Ramayana. Once Valmiki asked Narada who the greatest among mes was. Narada replied ' Shri Rama' and related to Valmiki a brief history of Rama. Then Valmiki disturbed at the sight of a hunter shooting down one of the Krauncha birds uttered a curse on the hunter in the form of a shloka unknowingly. The famous shloka ' Ma nishada ......became the first verse set in classical metre known as 'Anushtub or Shloka ' couched in the sentiment of pathos set the trend for the beginning of classical poetry after vedic literature. At the inspiration from Brahma, Valmiki composed the Ramayana which became the first classical epic poem.
Saravati, the wife of Brahma and popularly known as the goddess of learning including fine arts also sings the glory of Hanuman. Ananta or Sheshanaga, the noblest of the serpents also sings the glory of Hanuman .
