Jo sata bara patha kara koi,
Chutahi bandi maha sukha hoi.
He who chants this prayer ( Chalisa) a hundred times, becomes free from worldly bondage and enjoys great happiness ( the eternal bliss ).
Hanuman Chalisa sings the glory of Hanuman and Lord Rama. The term ' hundred times ' is symbolic. That means one should keep on reading it till he absorbs the essence of it. Mere mechanical recitation is not enough. Understanding it in depth is more important. Then only the devotee can purify his mind and getting the real knowledge of the Truth becomes free from worldly bondage, the cause of miseries and enjoys the eternal bliss. This is the easiest way to self realization.
