Hanuman Chalisa chaupai - 23
Apana teja samharo apai ,
Tinon loka hank te kampai.
You alone are able to control your power. All the three worlds tremble when you roar.
Here the poet in a beautiful poetic manner requests his deity Hanuman to marshal his own ' Tejas ' or electro magnetic type of resplendent sway. His ( Hanuman ' s) voice ( clarion call ) is so powerful that it vibrates through all the three worlds namely heaven, earth and nether world and causes a tremor in them from top to bottom.
Hanuman's power was tremendous and unparalled. Nobody could subdue him. He alone could control his power. His power and strength knew no limits. When he went to Lanka first time he created a great havoc and terror in the demons. Before the war, Rama thought of giving a last opportunity to Ravana for reconciliation. He sent Angada , Vali's son for this purpose. Seeing Angada , all the demons became afraid and they themselves took him to the court of Ravana. Such was the impact of terror which Hanuman had created among them earlier.
